You want to download mobile wallpapers or screensavers? You don't know which resolution you'll need? Here is how to find it out.
Compare with preinstalled files
The quickest way to find out the needed resolution for your mobile ist to compare files, that came preinstalled with your mobile by the time of purchase.
In your mobile, navigate to where the factory preinstalled wallpapers and / or screensavers are. Most of the time you will find them in a folder named something like "my documents," "documents," "my files," "surf and fun," "Images," "pictures" or something similar.
Choose a wallpaper or screensaver that was preinstalled by the time of purchase. Caution: you must not use a photo taken with your mobile's Camera. These have a much greater resolution and are only scaled down for display.
Note: If you wish to download a wallpaper, the comparison should be made with a wallpaper, if you wish to download a screensaver, the comparison should be made with a screensaver, because the required resolutions for wallpapers and screensavers may differ for some devices. If your mobile does not support screensavers, just choose the wallpaper resolution, after download of the screensaver you may set the file as wallpaper, you mobile will then display the screensaver with all animations, just in place of a wallpaper.
Scroll to the file. Without opening the file choose "options." A list with options concernin the file will pop up.
Here, you should find a menu entry reading something like "Details", "Informations", "Imate size", "Resolution", or similar. Here the resolution of the image file will be displayed e.g. "128x128."
This value eqates the value of the file that you will have to download in order to get the best results.

Manual or Google
If you can find it, read in your mobile's manual. Wenn du es findest kannst du auch das Handbuch deines Handys rekrutieren. The recommended resolution for wallpapers and screensavers should be given ther. Caution: This resolution is not necessarily identical with the resolution of the screen. Should you not find any Information about recommended resolutions, though, just choose the resolution of your mobile's display (this you will find in the technical specifications section, usually in the back of the manual).
As well, you can just go ahead and enter your mobile's name (Bandname and model) along with something like "wallpaper resolution" in Google. You should be finding an answer quickly.
Image comparison
The following method is definitly the least relieable, and we recommend it only in case, you really do not get along with the oters.
Compare your mobile's display with the following images and download the file that comes closest to your mobile's screen format.
Caution: The pixels of your mobile's screen may be bigger or smaller than those of your computer's display. For that reason, there may be differences in the actual resolution of your screen, and result of your comparison. In any case try to figure out the real proportions of width and hight of the image.
